Through these programs, PTBA seeks to provide better access to health services, increase awareness of healthy lifestyles, and support government efforts in achieving optimal public health status.
PTBA has four leading programs in contributions related to public health, including Mobile Clinic health services. PTBA routinely organizes mobile health services to villages that are difficult to reach by health facilities. This service includes general health checks, doctor consultations, provision of free medicines, and health counseling. This initiative really helps people who have limited access to transportation and costs to get health services.
Support for health facilities, PTBA actively contributes to improving the facilities and infrastructure of health facilities in Muara Enim. This support includes the construction of clean water facilities and sanitation in the health facility environment. This aims to create a cleaner and more comfortable environment for patients and medical personnel.
Health counseling and disease prevention, education is the key to disease prevention. PTBA regularly holds counseling programs on various health topics, such as balanced nutrition, environmental sanitation, the importance of immunization, as well as the prevention of infectious and non-communicable diseases. This program involves professionals and local community leaders to ensure that the message is delivered effectively.
Stunting and malnutrition prevention programs are also carried out because of the importance of a healthy next generation, PTBA focuses on prevention and handling programs for stunting and malnutrition in children. This program includes the provision of nutritious supplementary food, nutrition education for pregnant and lactating mothers, and regular monitoring of child growth and development.
