Since joining PTBA Tarahan Port’s fostered SME program in 2023, Elfira Collection has received various forms of support for business development, such as capital loans, training, and market expansion.
“In addition to receiving capital loans, we’ve also gained marketing support by participating in various exhibition events, both within Lampung and in other provinces,” said Muhammad Yusuf, owner of Elfira Collection.
Yusuf added that his business has grown significantly thanks to the support from PTBA. Elfira Collection has successfully attracted many new customers through its participation in various exhibition events.
“Our turnover has increased because, during exhibitions, we not only make direct sales but also gain new customers who place orders for Elfira products, whether it's sulam usus, batik, or tapis,” he said.
With continued support from PTBA, Yusuf hopes to further grow his business through ongoing product innovation. He also aspires to see Lampung’s traditional textiles gain wider recognition.
“We want to educate the public about the development of Lampung’s traditional textiles—sulam usus, batik, and tapis,” he said. “Elfira aims to offer more training opportunities so that more people can appreciate and understand these cultural treasures. That’s why we hope to have a dedicated space in the future to conduct various training programs.”
Hengki Burmana, General Manager of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) Tarahan Port, stated that the company is committed to preserving and promoting various forms of local culture in the areas around its operations.
"The development of MSMEs is part of our effort to drive the local economy. We hope that the businesses of our fostered partners will continue to grow, and that the quality of their products will reach new levels of excellence," he said.
