With "BUMN Torch Relay" from Sabang to Merauke concept, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) took part in the walking activity in 6 districts of South Sumatra Province, including Empat Lawang, Lahat, Muara Enim, Musi Banyuasin, Musi Rawas, and Musi Rawas Utara Regencies simultaneously on March 5, 2023, along with Bukit Asam’s 42nd Anniversary. In this activity, PTBA collaborated with Biofarma, Sucofindo, Jamkrindo, KAI, and Adhi Karya.
Not only walking activity, there were door prizes and entertainment too in the event. Thousands of enthusiastic participants in each district took part. Besides BUMN employees and families, this event also involved the regional government, local community, as well as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
"The BUMN Healthy Walk was held to inspire and educate the community about the importance of health. This activity is also expected to bring us closer to the community. We would like to thank the participants for their enthusiasm. It shows that BUMN is well received. We hope that this activity will bring full benefits to the Ministry of BUMN, the BUMN companies and the community," said PTBA Director of Operations and Production Suhedi.
The Acting Regent of Muara Enim Ahmad Usmarwi Kaffah expressed his gratitude to PTBA for organizing a healthy walk activity as well as community gathering. Among the participants of Muara Enim were the Chairman of the Muara Enim DPRD Liono Basuki, Muara Enim Regent Ahmad Usmarwi Kaffah, Muara Enim Regional Secretary H Riswandar, Muara Enim Dandim Lt. Col. Arh Rimba Anwar, Muara Enim Police Chief AKBP Andi Supriadi.
In Lahat were also present Chairman of the Lahat DPRD Ftrizal Homizi, Lahat Regent Cik Ujang, Deputy Regent H Haryanto, Regional Secretary Lahat Chandra, Dandim Lahat Lt. Col. Inf Toni Oki.
In Musi Rawas Regency, there were Musi Rawas Regent Ratna Machmud, Musi Rawas Deputy Regent Hj Suwarti, and Musi Rawas Police Chief AKBP Danu Agus Purnomo.
Among the participants of Musi Rawas Utara were Musi Rawas Utara Regent Devi Suhartoni, Deputy Regent H Inayatullah, Musi Rawas Utara Police Chief AKBP Ferly Rosa Putra.
Sekda Empat Lawang Fauzan Khoiri Denin, the Head of the Empat Lawang Police AKBP Helda Prayitno, Expert Staff for the Regent of Musi Banyuasin M Tabrani Rizky, community leaders and other stakeholders also attended the event.
