Bukit Asam’s Commitment to Strengthening the Contribution of Female Workers Every April 21, Kartini Day is observed as a movement to promote gender equality. As a member of the MIND ID Group, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is committed to enhancing the role of women in the coal mining industry.

According to PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) Corporate Secretary Niko Chandra, the Company is committed to expanding opportunities for female workers to work, make achievements and develop their careers.

"We realize the important role of female workers in achieving the company's vision and mission. Through this commemoration of Kartini Day, PTBA reaffirms its commitment to continue increasing the active involvement of female workers in an effort to provide endless energy to the country," said Niko.

Currently, PTBA has 295 female workers, accounting for 19% of the total workforce. A total of 85 female employees have held middle to top managerial positions.
