This principle refers to obligation of individuals and working units within PTBA. It relates to implementation of authority and responsibilities assigned by the Company to individuals or working units. Accountability includes the accountability of individuals, groups and corporate (Ccompany). - Responsibility.
This principle is applied in PTBA to comply with applicable regulations, environmental management and post mining land reclamation, to run corporate social responsibility (CSR) for employees. Employees are viewed as a major strategic partner and responsibility executed through coaching, competence development and remuneration related to the work done by employees. It also includes the implementation of mutual obligations to business partners. - Independence
This principle is applied in PTBA through the code of conduct preparation and implementation and to avoid transaction or investment plans which contain or have potential conflicts of interest. With this principle business can run well. - Fairness.
The principle of fairness is applied in treating all stakeholders balanced between their rights and obligations granted to and by PTBA. Besides, PTBA give equal opportunity in hiring, career and carry out their duties without any distinction as to ethnicity, religion, race, class, gender and physical condition.
