PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk. or PTBA together with PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk held BUMN goes to Campus at Sriwijaya University, Palembang and attended by about 1,000 academic community consisting of lecturers and students from various departments at Sriwijaya University. This activity is part of BUMN Goes to Campus which proclaimed by Ministry of BUMN and conducted with the same time in 28 universities all over Indonesia by more than 50 State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) on Saturday, October 28, 2017. BUMN Goes to Campus begins with flag ceremony in the framework of Youth Pledge Day which is followed by all civitas academica of Sriwijaya University and BUMN CEO. On this occasion also signing the Declaration of Nationality by participants of ceremony and tree planting by the Head of Sriwijaya University and CEO of BUMN. The event entitled "BUMN Build a Fair Economy" is, opened by Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Anis Saggaff. MSCE, Rector of Sriwijaya University and continued with general lectures and scientific discussions. Public lectures and scientific discussions are filled by the President Director of SOEs and Professors from Sriwijaya University. Arviyan Arifin, President Director of PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk and Rahmad Pribadi, President Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, will fill a public lecture at Sriwijaya University. However, Arviyan Arifin was unable to attend due to other agenda abroad, so public lecture was filled by President Director of Perum Perumnas with President Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. Public lectures and scientific discussions on the topic of "Build a Justice Indonesia Economy" are delivered by Rahmad Pribadi, President Director of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk and Bambang Tri Wibowo, President Director of Perum Perumnas. Meanwhile, a public lecture on "The Strategic Role of State-Owned Enterprises in the Implementation of Higher Education in Indonesia" was delivered by Prof. Dr. Joni Emirzon, S.H., M.Hum, Professor of Law Faculty of Sriwijaya University, Palembang. BUMN Activities Attending the Campus is an activity where the Minister of SOEs, Level I Officials of the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises and the President Director of BUMN directly to the university in Indonesia at the same time to discuss with the academic community. Through this activity, it is expected to provide understanding to the academic community as an agent of change about the national economic condition and the strategic role of SOEs in building the national economy, as well as bridging the synergy of SOEs with universities that have professional resources.
