PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) distributed Ramadan social aid as well as support for organizing the Eid prayers to several mosques in the company's operational areas. Aid recipients received a symbolic handover from General Manager of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) Tanjung Enim Mining Unit, Venpri Sagara, at Bukit Asam Jami' Mosque on Tuesday, March 26, 2024."We hope that what we offer will be a blessing and we ask for your prayers so that PTBA can grow even better, providing greater benefits for the community, nation and state," said Venpri Sagara.
In the Ring 1 area of the Tanjung Enim Mining Unit, the social aid was given to 106 mosques spread among 5 sub-districts: Lawang Kidul District, Tanjung Agung District, Muara Enim District, Merapi Timur District, and Merapi Barat District. The five sub-district administrators of the mosques personally came to receive the aid.
"Alhamdulilah, praise be to God, we are very grateful that PTBA also pays special attention to the implementation of religious activities," said Zuhri, the administrator of the Darussalam Mosque, one of the recipients of the aid, who expressed gratitude for receiving support for both the management of the mosque and the next Eid prayers.
Chairman of PTBA Ramadan Safari Committee, Yanuar Efri Madan, said that the aid distribution was part of a series of Ramadan Safari activities organized by the company.
PTBA has conducted various Ramadan Safari activities in nearby villages. The company will also host various religious competitions for elementary, middle and high school students.
“PTBA Ramadan Safari is an excellent moment to strengthen relationship between the community, employees and the company. Through these events, we hope the public will feel more involved and familiar with the values upheld by the company," concluded Yanuar.
