Bukit Asam (PTBA) Achieves Platinum Rating in Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating 2024 PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) received a Platinum rating at the Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) 2024 event, organized by the National Center for Corporate Reporting (NCCR) in Jakarta on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

The award was given because PTBA's Sustainability Report was deemed to have complied with GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Standards 2021, OJK regulations, GRI Sector Standards, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and other standards and was verified by a third party using Sustainability Assurance Standards AA1000 and ISAE 3000, indicating high quality and credibility of every effort in sustainable aspect.

"Thank you for the appreciation. This award is an acknowledgment of our transparency and accountability in supporting sustainability. This certainly motivates us further to continue implementing sustainability principles in an effort to provide non-stop energy for Indonesia," said Suherman, Director of Human Resources of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA).

In supporting sustainability, PTBA always implements the best mining principles (Good Mining Practice), including post-mining land reclamation, rehabilitation of watersheds (DAS), constructed wetlands developments, electrification of mining equipment and mining digitalization.

This year's ASRRAT has the theme "Enhanced Transparency and Accountability for Sustainable Business", an award ceremony for Sustainability Reports that highlight the best commitments in corporate governance practices in sustainable economic, environmental, and social aspects.

68 Indonesian corporations and seven more companies from the Philippines, Bangladesh, Russia, and Australia have participated in this award, which is organized by the National Center for Corporate Reporting (NCCR) since 2005.

NCCR establishes four Sustainability Report levels: Platinum (the highest), Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The assessment process involves a panel of judges consisting of experts from various universities, as well as a team of assessors with Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist+ (CSRS+).
