PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk or PTBA concerns not only for the provision of relief food packages, public facility construction, scholarship or the current trend program on distributing masks. But PTBA also concerned for the Environment. It shown when PTBA welcomed Bogor Forestry Study and Training Center. PTBA let its facilities used by the Forestry Teachers Groups when conducted field study in PTBA Tanjung Enim Mining Unit (UPTE) for 3 days, started from 2015 September 28th to September 30th.
The vocational school Teachers who are civil servants in Ministry of Forestry originated from various regions in Indonesia came to UPTE specifically to study and learn how PTBA managed its Watershed (DAS) rehabilitation and post mining land reclamation activities. It was the fisrt fisit from the Centre after decided PTBA as field study location 2 years ago.
The decision was taken after surveyed different places and mining companies in Indonesia. Initially, PTBA recommended by Ministry of Forestry due to its many activities and support for the Environmental. PTBA considered suitable as field study location related to rehabilitation and land reclamation.
