Mudik Asyik with BUMN 2024, Bukit Asam (PTBA) Sends Hundreds of Travelers Home PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is taking part in Mudik Asyik (Fun Homecoming) with BUMN 2024 program, which aims to help the community, particularly underprivileged ones, to return home safely and comfortably for Eid.

The homecoming flag off was done by BUMN Minister Erick Thohir, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, and Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono at the National Monument (Monas), Jakarta on Friday, April 5, 2024.

According to Erick Thohir, this program is part of the government's effort to minimize the number of motorcycle riders because they are the most likely to be involved in accidents.

"Therefore, it is important that we provide a safe and comfortable homecoming until we meet our families at home. BUMN is here to help the community," said Erick Thohir.

PTBA dispatched 100 homecoming travelers on routes to Yogyakarta and Malang in two busses with a capacity of 50 persons each.

Director of Human Resources (HR) PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) Suherman said that the company also supports the improvement of the travelers’ safety and reducing roadway congestion.

He hoped that the homecoming journey went smoothly and that the travelers may soon celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their loved ones in their hometowns.

"As a state-owned enterprise, we care about the people who will be returning to their hometowns. We all pray that all homecoming travelers are healthy and safe, so they can gather and bond with their families in their hometowns," said Suherman.

Mudik Asyik Bersama BUMN program is one of BUMN service implementations that exemplifies Social and Environmental Responsibility. This program involved 88 state-owned companies and subsidiaries in total.

1,536 buses, 60 trains, and 30 ships were provided to take passengers to almost 200 destinations in Indonesia for free.

In addition to Mudik Asyik with BUMN program, PTBA is also taking part in the 2024 Mudik Bareng with the Energy and Mineral Resources Sector 2024. Through this program, PTBA transported 250 homecoming travelers from Jakarta to Magetan, Solo, Kediri, Palembang, Lampung and Padang.
