Celebrating Eid al-Adha, Bringing Blessings, Strengthening Togetherness, Spreading Benefits Tanjung Enim, June 6, 2025 – In the spirit of Eid al-Adha 1446 H, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), a member of the Holding BUMN Mining Industry MIND ID, again distributed sacrificial animals to the communities around the company's operational areas. This activity is a tangible manifestation of PTBA's social contribution as part of the commitment of SOEs Present for the Country.

This year, PTBA distributed 219 cows and 73 goats with details of Tanjung Enim Mining Unit as many as 168 cows and 51 goats, Kertapati Port Unit as many as 26 cows, Tarahan Unit distributed 15 cows and 22 goats, and Ombilin Unit as many as 10 cows. The sacrificial animals came from local suppliers and CSR fostered partners, and have gone through a health inspection process by the committee team to ensure their eligibility and compliance with Islamic law.

The distribution of sacrificial animals was carried out simultaneously in all PTBA operational units on Eid al-Adha. This activity involved the Ramadhan & Qurban Social Committee Team with PTBA employees as company representatives. Sacrificial animals were then distributed to mosques and musala in ring 1 villages in each PTBA operational unit.

The symbolic handover of sacrificial animal assistance was carried out by the Director of Operations & Production of PTBA, Suhedi, to community representatives at the Bukit Asam Jami' Mosque, Friday (6/6/2025). 

"Eid al-Adha is not only about sacrificing, but also about strengthening social relations with the surrounding community. Through this activity, we hope to provide benefits evenly and strengthen the spirit of togetherness," said Suhedi, Director of Operations & Production, when symbolically handing over sacrificial animals at the Bukit Asam Jami' Mosque.

This qurbani activity has become PTBA’s annual routine agenda. Not only as a form of concern, this program is also a form of real contribution and an activity that is considered important to strengthen the relationship between the company and the community.

"The spirit of mutual cooperation and sharing in this moment is in line with the values ​​of AKHLAK BUMN that we hold dear. Hopefully, PTBA can continue to be a company that not only focuses on business performance, but also actively present to contribute endlessly to the surrounding community," continued Suhedi.
