Bukit Asam (PTBA) Receives International Standard Certificate for Information Technology Services PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has received the ISO 20000-1:2018 certification for Information Technology Service Management from the certification body PT TUV SUD Indonesia. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional information technology services.

The ISO 20000-1:2018 certificate was presented directly to Arsal Ismail, President Director of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), in Jakarta on Friday, March 14, 2025.

ISO 20000-1:2018 is an international standard for Information Technology Service Management (ITSM). This certification recognizes that PTBA has successfully developed and implemented a reliable and efficient IT service management system, capable of supporting the company’s business needs and enhancing the quality of services provided.

The ISO 20000-1:2018 certification not only affirms our commitment to delivering high-quality information technology service management but also further strengthens PTBA’s position as a company that continues to innovate in developing reliable, efficient, and internationally standardized information technology governance,” said Arsal Ismail.

Arsal explained that the ISO 20000-1:2018 certification ensures that PTBA’s information technology services are managed professionally and in full compliance with the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).

This standard is used to define, control, and ensure that the services provided meet user expectations. Additionally, ISO 20000-1:2018 helps enhance information technology services, making them more reliable and efficient.

Arsal hopes that this certification will further solidify PTBA’s position as a company that prioritizes security, efficiency, and operational excellence in its information technology governance.
