PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), a member of MIND ID Mining BUMN Holding, took second place in the Go Public Non-Financial category at the 2022 Annual Report Award (ARA) ceremony on Monday, November 27, 2023.ARA 2022 aims to encourage the implementation of corporate governance principles through information disclosure and good corporate governance practices.
"The ARA criteria are prepared by taking into account all provisions/standards and best practices in the fields of corporate governance and accounting, and are always aligned with current developments," said Chairman of the 2022 ARA Steering Committee, Mardiasmo.
Director of Finance & Risk Management of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), Farida Thamrin, expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the award, "This appreciation is certainly an encouragement for us to increase transparency, openness and good corporate governance practices."
Through the ARA 2022 event, corporate annual reports are assessed and given recommendations for improvement. Disclosure of annual report information must comply with applicable regulations and guidelines, and presented in a relevant and fair manner.
ARA 2022 uses criteria that are in line with SE OJK 16/2021 concerning Form and Content of Annual Reports, including the attachment to SE OJK 16/2021 concerning Technical Guidelines for Preparing Sustainability Reports, which refers to SE OJK No. 51/2017 concerning the Implementation of Sustainable Finance, and accommodates the 2021 General Guidelines for Indonesian Corporate Governance (PUGKI), as well as the ASEAN CG Scorecard.
The 2022 ARA Jury consists of representatives from various institutions and professions, including the Directorate General of Taxes – Ministry of Finance, Ministry of BUMN, PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), National Committee for Governance Policy (KNKG) and the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI).
ARA 2022 activities were made possible by the collaboration of 7 agencies: the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (Kemenko Ekonomi), the Ministry of BUMN, the Directorate General of Taxes-Ministry of Finance, the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI), the National Committee for Governance Policy and the Association of Accountants Indonesia.
