
The symbolic handover of 600 basic food packages to underprivileged communities took place at Lembah Segar District Office on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. The packages included rice, granulated sugar, cooking oil, chicken eggs, and syrup.
In distributing this aid, PTBA Ombilin Mining Unit collaborated with the Sawahlunto National Zakat Agency (Baznas) and the Sawahlunto City Government.
Jeffry Hibatullah, Deputy Mayor of Sawahlunto, expressed his appreciation to PTBA for its continued commitment to supporting the Sawahlunto community.

The other day, at the Safari Ramadan event on Monday, March 17, 2025, PTBA Ombilin Mining Unit also provided cash assistance of Rp30 Million to orphanages and Islamic boarding schools in Sawahlunto.
Renaldi, the administrator of the Ababil Islamic Boarding School Foundation, expressed his gratitude for PTBA Ombilin Mining Unit's care and support for the orphans.
