To celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and BUMN enterprises are coordinating the 2024 BUMN Ramadan Safari events across Indonesia.This year, BUMN Ramadan Safari will visit 40 cities and districts, providing significant benefits to the community through the sale of inexpensive basic food packages.
PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) supported the BUMN Ramadan Safari by organizing a cheap market at the Lawang Kidul District Office Field in Muara Enim Regency on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
PTBA offers 1,000 basic food packages worth Rp148,500 every package, which are offered to the public at a reasonable price of Rp75,000 per package. Each box comprises basic essentials such as 5 kilograms (kg) of rice, 1 kg of sugar, and 1 liter of cooking oil.
"This program was launched by the Ministry of BUMN, which is entering its 26th year. For sure, Bukit Asam welcomes this program. We have prepared a Ramadan cheap market, with reductions of up to 50%. We hope that this cheap market program would help the community meet its basic needs," said Hartono.
“The 2024 BUMN Ramadan Safari is more than just an event to share blessings. With a strong sense of caring and togetherness, the 2024 BUMN Ramadan Safari is a true manifestation of the synergy between companies and society in creating prosperity," he said.
Meanwhile, Andrille Martin, the Head of Lawang Kidul Subdistrict, who was also present at the occasion, expressed his enthusiasm for the Ramadan Safari series.
"This program has touched the hearts of the people of Lawang Kidul District. Our wish is that PTBA would always be successful and prosperous so that it may continue to help our community," he said.
The 2024 BUMN Ramadan Safari is part of a series of the Ministry of BUMN’s 26th anniversary celebration. The 2024 BUMN Ramadhan Safari was also enlivened by a BUMN-supported MSME bazaar selling various kinds of takjil. It is hoped that this activity can provide benefits and blessings during the Holy month of Ramadan for the local community.
