Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the Indigenous People

PTBA

One of the Company’s commitments to the indigenous people is through FGD, a way to work together to formulate programs according to the needs and potentials of the people. The FGD is conducted once in three months and involves various parties, including the local government, other private companies, and the local community.

The FGD takes place in different locations, determined by the relevant stakeholders around the Company's operational areas. With FGD, PTBA can accommodate various aspirations to be used as baseline data in preparation of many program plans.

Hopefully, the FGD process will create program plans that are right on target so that the local community becomes independent, empowered, and has a better life in the long term.
