PTBA Earned 2 (two) Awards in 2015 Indonesian Green Awards

PTBA honored two (2) awards in 2015 Indonesia Green Awards. Through palm oil waste use as biomass power plant fuel, PTBA won the first award, for New Development of Renewable Energy category. Meanwhile, through the program of Bukit Asam Sustainable Environmental Excellence (BA -SEE), PTBA won the second award in Pollution Prevention Pioneer category. Both awards was given by Saleh Husin (Minister of Industry) to PTBA, at the Hotel Kempinski Jakarta (2015, 04th June).

The awards are trigger to prove PTBA as the best company in accordance with its vision to become an Environmentally Friendly World-class Energy Company.  2015 Indonesia Green Award (IGA), is an event organized by The La Tofi School of CSR partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHH), Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF), Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Ministry of General Work and Public Housing (PUPR) and Ministry of Industry.

The judges panel who assessed many companies in IGA 2015 are; Daryanto (Secretary of KLHH); Ilyas Asaad (Deputy for Environmental Communication and Community Empowerment KLHH); Haris Munandar (Head of BPPI in Ministry of Industry); Mudjiadi (Director General of Water Resources, Ministry of PUPR); Sudirman Saat (Director General of Marine, Coastal and Small islands MMAF); Ridia Mulyana (Director General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources); Hamad (Professor of Communication UI); La Tofi (Chairman of the La Tofi School of CSR).
