Directors PTBA from Time to Time
The history of coal mining in the headland enim started the Dutch colonial era (1919) by using open-pit mining method (open pit mining) in the mine water laya. Then operates by underground mining methods (underground mining) from 1923 until 1940. Production for commercial purposes began in 1938.
Government Of Republic Indonesia then authorized the establishment of Perusahaan Negara Tambang Arang Bukit Asam (PN TABA) in 1950. PN TABA then changed its status to a limited liability company under the name of PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk in 1981 and establishes Christian Situmorang as its President Director (1991 -1986). Later on he was replaced by R. Hoesein Moehammad Hoesni (1986-1988), Kuntoro Mangunsubroto (1988-1989) and Sapari Sutisnawinata (1989-1991).
Since 1993 under Ambyo Mangunwidjaya (1991-1994) leadership, developed coal briquette business in accordance with national energy security development program. Thereafter, leadership passed onto Sunardi (1994-2001) and in 1999 PTBA used merit system for assessing HR performance and balanced score card for group performances. It became foundation in human resource development and succession for PTBA leaders. On 2002, 23rd December under Ismet Harmaini (2001-2006) leadership, enlisted as a public company in Indonesia Stock Exchange under the code "PTBA".
In 2006, Sukrisno (2006-2011) who previously was Operational Director accepted the mandate and passed it to Milawarma (2011 to present), which previously also Director of Operations. Since 1981 until 2015, PTBA has 9 (nine) leadership change and never have to worry about human resources shortage to hold the reins of future leadership.
