Bukit Asam Allocated IDR19 Billion to Build 2 New Stadiums in South Sumatra
PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has allocated IDR19 billion to build two sports stadiums in South Sumatra, located in Musi Rawas Regency and Musi Rawas Utara Regency with a construction value of IDR9.5 billion each.
The groundbreaking ceremony by the Governor of South Sumatra Herman Deru, on Saturday (September 12) marked the constructions of the two stadiums.
First, the groundbreaking for the mini stadium in Musi Rawas Utara Regency, located in Muara Rupit Village, Rupit District, with construction time of approximately 8 months, this sports facility with 792 square meters building area, is projected to open to public in 2021.
The mini stadium at Musi Rawas is located in Muara Beliti Village, Muara Beliti District. The stadium is built on a land area of 918 square meters. This construction work is estimated to last for 8 months and can be utilized by the community next year.
PT Bukit Asam Tbk Corporate Secretary Apollonius Andwie said the construction of these sports buildings was part of the PTBA assistance program to the South Sumatra Provincial Government worth IDR128 billion. This program is a form of PTBA's commitment to building harmonious relationships in a sustainable environment and providing maximum benefit to the community.
